Season 2
G.R.I.T.S. season is soon upon us! Dust off your inner tubes, search for your fanciest swim suit, and get ready to do a whole lot of nothing!
In all the excitement and buzz of the new season, some charter members of G.R.I.T.S. have come up with the idea of a possible uniform. Here is one of the top runners~ All other suggestions are welcome, but we are kind of loving this ourselves~

Tube Standing?
A new sport was invented at GRITS last evening, trying to stand up on the inner tubes. The participants need to perfect and hone their skills, but solid attempts were made, as seen below. It was a perfect night for the beach after a brutally hot day and lots of fun was had by all!

G.R.I.T.S.
Please join us every Monday night this summer (weather permitting) at Narrow River Road in Orient, NY (about a 1/4 mile past the marina) for some floating fun.Summer is short, enjoy the water and our beautiful surroundings to the fullest!
Bring a picnic, bring the family, bring an inner tube!
Tire inner tubes are available at Eastern Tire in Cutchogue (631-734-7395) and range from $15 for small sizes to $50 for huge tire tractor inner tubes.
You should have a Southold Town Beach Permit.Residents are $6.00 for the seasonNon-residents are $25.00/day and $150.00 for the season.The town clerk's office handles all permits...631.765.1800
